New Volunteer Opportunities on our Pathfinder Team

11th May 2022

In 2021 Cirencester Foodbank became part of the Pathfinder Project – an initiative of Trussell Trust working with a small number of local Foodbanks across the country.  The Pathfinder programme aspires to a vision of the future where we can see the possibility of stopping or even reversing the increase in food bank use and, ultimately, where food banks are no longer needed.

As part of the Pathfinder programme we are looking to recruit some specialized volunteer roles. The post holders will work with the Head of the Foodbank in developing several aspects of Cirencester Foodbanks work.

VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION LEAD

Download Role Description

Cirencester Foodbank is committed to working alongside people struggling against poverty which results in food insecurity, to learn from and be shaped by their knowledge and experience. As Participation Lead you will meaningfully engage people who use foodbanks, in the decision making, development and leadership of the service.

VOLUNTEER INSIGHT & DATA LEAD

Download Role Description

At the foodbank we are always looking to learn and develop. The insight and data lead role is pivotal to the success of our Pathfinder programme, as the post holder works to identify, gather and interpret key data which can drive our learning and increase our effectiveness as an organisation. Through analyzing and acting on our findings from statistics and trends we hope to reduce the need for the foodbank in the South Cotswolds.
