Donate food & other essentials
Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
It’s natural that the first thing anyone thinks to donate to a food bank is food but toiletries and hygiene products are also extremely important. For more information on hygiene, household and pet items that can be donated visit: Non-food items – The Trussell Trust
Cirencester Foodbank partners with BankTheFood. BanktheFood is a charity which works to ensure food banks always have exactly what they need and not just baked beans. They have a free app which is easy to download and simple to use. The app can even send you a helpful ‘ping’ when you are at your local supermarket with your local food bank’s needs. Download BanktheFood today!
Alternatively, our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
